2nd-year graphic design student project. A promotional film advertising tokyo:ocean's avant-garde festival. The concept was to convey the rhythm of everyday urban life using the medium of film, confined to a 1-minute time limit as requested by the brief. The inspiration for the film's rhythm came from the syllables of the phrase 'avant-garde' itself; these everyday scenes captured by film are arranged into shots or actions of three. Video below.
